Definitions

Client: Any professional or natural person with full legal capacity within the meaning of Articles 11 and following of the Polish Civil Code, or legal entity, who visits the Site subject to these general conditions.
Services and Offerings: PIURIS provides Clients with an online store offering women's clothing, primarily satin trousers and related items.
Content: All elements constituting the information present on the Site, including texts, images, videos.
Customer information: "Information(s)" that correspond to all personal data that may be held by PIURIS for the management of your account, customer relationship, and for analysis and statistics purposes.
User: Internet user connecting to and using the aforementioned site.
Personal information: "Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person" (Article 4(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation).
The terms "personal data", "data subject", "processor" and "sensitive data" have the meaning defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR: No. 2016/679).

1. Presentation of the website

Under Article 5 of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the Provision of Electronic Services and Directive 2000/31/EC on electronic commerce, the identity of the various stakeholders involved in the realization and monitoring of the piuris.com website is specified to users:

2. General terms of use of the site and the services offered

The Site constitutes a work protected by the provisions of the Polish Act on Copyright and Related Rights and applicable International Regulations. The Client may not in any way reuse, assign, or exploit for their own account all or part of the elements or works of the Site.

The use of the piuris.com site implies full and complete acceptance of the general terms of use described below. These terms are subject to change or completion at any time; users of the site are therefore invited to consult them regularly.

3. Description of the services provided

The website piuris.com aims to present and sell the products of the company and to provide information regarding all its activities. PIURIS strives to provide information on the site that is as accurate as possible. However, it cannot be held responsible for omissions, inaccuracies, and deficiencies in updates, whether they are due to its own actions or those of third-party partners.

4. Contractual limitations on technical data

The site uses JavaScript technology. The website cannot be held liable for material damages related to its use. Furthermore, the user agrees to access the site with recent equipment, free of viruses, and with an updated latest generation browser.

5. Intellectual property and counterfeiting

PIURIS owns the intellectual property rights and holds the usage rights for all elements accessible on the site, including texts, images, graphics, logos, videos, icons, and sounds. Any reproduction, representation, modification, or adaptation of all or part of the elements of the site is prohibited, unless prior written permission is obtained from PIURIS.

6. Limitations of liability

PIURIS acts as the publisher of the site and is responsible for the quality and accuracy of the published content. PIURIS cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damages caused to the user or their equipment when accessing the site. This does not limit the statutory rights of consumers under Polish or EU law.

7. Management of personal data

The Client is informed of the regulations regarding marketing communication, the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the Provision of Electronic Services, the Polish Act of 10 May 2018 on the Protection of Personal Data, as well as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR: No. 2016/679).

7.1 Purpose of the collected data

PIURIS may process all or part of the data for:

* allow navigation on the Site and manage the ordered products and services
* prevent and combat computer fraud
* improve navigation on the Site
* conduct satisfaction surveys
* conduct communication campaigns (sms, email), subject to the User's consent

7.2 Right of access, rectification, and opposition

In accordance with the applicable European regulations, PIURIS Users have the following rights:

* right of access (article 15 GDPR) and rectification (article 16 GDPR)
* right to erasure of personal data (article 17 GDPR)
* right to withdraw consent at any time (article 7(3) GDPR)
* right to restrict data processing (article 18 GDPR)
* right to object to data processing (article 21 GDPR)
* right to data portability (article 20 GDPR)
* right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland)

7.4 Non-communication of personal data

PIURIS undertakes not to process, host, or transfer the Information collected about its Clients to a country outside the European Economic Area without appropriate safeguards as required by the GDPR and without prior information to the client.

8. Incident notification

Regardless of the efforts made, no method of transmission over the Internet and no electronic storage method is completely secure. We cannot therefore guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security breach, we will notify the affected users and, where required, the supervisory authority.

9. Hyperlinks, "cookies" and internet tags

The PIURIS site may contain a number of hyperlinks to other sites, set up with the permission of PIURIS.

9.1. "COOKIES"

A "cookie" is a small information file sent to the User's browser and stored on the User's device (hereinafter "Cookies"). This information allows PIURIS to improve the content of the Site and the User's navigation. Cookies that are not strictly necessary are placed only with the User's consent, which may be given or withdrawn at any time via the cookie banner on the Site.

9.2. INTERNET TAGS

PIURIS may occasionally use Internet tags to assess visitors' responses to the site and the effectiveness of its actions (for example, the number of times a page is opened and the information viewed), as well as the use of this Site by the User.

The external service provider may collect information about visitors to the Site and other websites through these tags, compile reports on the activity of the Site for PIURIS, and provide other services related to the use of the Site and the Internet.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

Any dispute related to the use of the site piuris.com is subject to Polish law. Except in cases where the law does not allow it, jurisdiction is granted to the competent courts for the registered seat of PIURIS. For consumers residing in another EU member state or the United Kingdom, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence remain applicable, and they may bring proceedings before the courts of their own country of residence.
